Our teacher training partnership brings together good and outstanding schools from the local area. We offer you a uniquely welcoming environment in which to start your journey into teaching, embracing you as an individual with your own strengths, skills and interests. At the heart of our partnership, is a shared vision to provide you with the best possible foundation on which to build your career, offering you exciting training opportunities and dynamic teaching experiences.
The schools in our partnership recognise the importance of a strong Christian ethos; we look to promote the values of our faith with all who work and learn with us.

We provide a unique teacher training programme that is designed and delivered by us. All of our training is delivered at one of our partners schools by school-based practitioners. For this reason, we are different. If you are looking for a fully school-based, immersive teacher training programme, then that is what we offer. We offer high-quality training, mentoring and coaching that will develop you as a teacher. Ilkley All Saints’ Primary School is a National Support School which demonstrates our commitment to teacher development.
About the Course
All of our courses provide you with supported, school-based experiences, split into three teaching placements. These placements will give you the training experiences and access to specialist support that will develop your confidence for the start of your teaching career.
You will receive teaching from the university academic staff and training under the direction of the All Saints’ Primary School Teacher Training Partnership. Through our partnerships, you will have access to specialist leaders who will contribute to your professional development. We have a range of professionals who can develop your skills and practice across all areas, including the latest developments in education.
In addition, you will be supported by an experienced Lead Mentor and outstanding practitioners.
This is a copy of our current teacher training booklet which details week-by-week your training sessions and in-school experience.
