Pupil Premium Grant 2017-18

Allocation, Purpose and Proposal for spending

Pupil Premium is additional money allocated to schools to support learning for vulnerable groups of children. It is allocated where pupils are in receipt of Free School Meals (FSM),  been in receipt of FSM in the last 6 year (ever 6) are look after by the local authority (LAC), are adopted or are children of armed forces personnel. All schools must report on their websites the amount of money received, how it is allocated and what impact it has on learning.

How we spent our pupil premium 2017-18 (£44,000)

  • To support inclusion in activities and visits – £1,500
  • Pupil support worker time – £4,000
  • Mental Health worker – £4,000
  • Y2/3/4 support for small group teaching & interventions – £10,000
  • Y5/6 support for small group teaching & interventions – £16,000
  • Early Help Facilitator – £1,500
  • 1:1 support /interventions – £6,000
  • Resources – £1,000
