Collective Worship Council
At All Saints’ CE Primary School, our Collective Worship Council plays a vital role in shaping and enriching our daily worship. Made up of enthusiastic pupils from across KS2, the council ensures that worship is meaningful, inclusive and reflective of our Christian values.
What is the Collective Worship Council?
The Collective Worship Council is a group of children who work together to support and develop worship across the school. They act as leaders, role models and ambassadors, helping to ensure that worship is engaging and relevant for everyone.
What do we do?
Members of the Collective Worship Council:
- Help to plan and lead acts of collective worship
- Share ideas and themes linked to our Christian values
- Gather feedback from other pupils about worship
- Evaluate and improve worship experiences
- Encourage participation, reflection and respectful behaviour
- Work alongside staff and the local church community
Why is it important?
Collective Worship is a special time for reflection, prayer, celebration and community. The council helps ensure that every child has a voice in how worship is shaped, making it more meaningful and inspiring.
Through their work, council members develop important skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication and responsibility.
Our Impact
Thanks to the Collective Worship Council, worship at All Saints’ is:
- Pupil-led and engaging
