Bee Class
Class teacher’s welcome
A very warm welcome to the ‘Bee Class’ page!
We have had a wonderful start to the school year, and it has been a joy to see all of the children settling in so beautifully. Our Year 1 and Year 2 children have approached new experiences with enthusiasm and positivity and we are so proud of how well they have begun the year.
In Bee Class, we strive to create a kind, nurturing and happy environment where every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to thrive. Our classroom is built upon our school values of Compassion, Service, Respect, and Perseverance. We show compassion by caring for and supporting one another, respect by celebrating our differences and listening to others, service by helping those around us, and perseverance by always trying our best, even when things feel challenging.
We are so excited for a year full of learning, laughter, creativity and new adventures together in Bee Class!

Reading
Please encourage your child to read daily for a minimum of 10 minutes. At least 3 reading sessions per week should be recorded in the school Reading Record. Children should all have a school reading book (that can be changed regularly) but should be encouraged to read other material as well.
