School Association

Welcome to the All Saints’ C of E Primary School, PTA Website

The PTA is run by parents of the school. Its main aim is to fundraise for the school by organising a series of fun events for children and parents. PTA fundraising is increasingly important as the school’s budget has been significantly decreased over recent years.

Over the years the PTA has helped fund major projects such as the MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), purchased laptops, updated the children’s playgrounds with new equipment and provided new Acer tablets for use by the children.  Last year we had an exciting project to kit out the new Skills Room, which is a creative space for the children which includes cooking facilities, storage, and art resources.  Recently we have provided lots of new books for the children, including a huge purchase for the library.  We also allocated an amount of money to each class in order to provide extra fun events for the children.

We fundraise through a series of events in the school calendar.  For the children we organise two discos each year, an entry to the May Day Carnival and for Foundation and Year one, an Easter Party. Family events include a Bingo evening, Summer Fair, Christmas Fair and a Camping Weekend. We also organise a quiz night for parents and a social evening out.  Any suggestions are welcome though, so if you have other ideas just get in touch.

The PTA send out a newsletter regularly via email and information can be found on the website. Information and posters are also displayed on the PTA notice boards, which are found on the sheds in the playground.

There is also a PTA Facebook page which is updated with all the latest information at “All Saints’ PTA Ilkley” and you can find us on Twitter @AllSaints_PTA.

Every parent in the school is automatically part of the PTA so just get in touch if you would like to help in any way – especially as the events are all run for our children. Even just an hour helping out is greatly appreciated. Without everyone doing a little bit we wouldn’t be able to put on these events and raise so much extra money for the benefit of all our kids.

Everyone is welcome to come along to PTA meetings. They are relaxed and informal and are usually held on a Monday evening, 2 to 3 weeks after each term starts.  It’d be great to see some new faces!

All the Committee Meeting dates can be found on the PTA calendar tab.
