Year 5 @ Yorkshire Sculpture Park!
Our Y5 pupils enjoyed a gloriously sunny day at Yorkshire Sculpture Park this week – taking in a wide variety of art via a scavenger hunt and several sketching activities. All will (hopefully!) provide inspiration for a sculpture unit in our Art lessons this half-term. We were also able to find links to our new History topic on the Ancient Greeks – imagining a fictional battle of mythical monsters and enjoying the splendid views from a Greek temple next to the lake.
