Thank you to those of you who were able to attend our information sharing session on the curriculum on Wednesday 7th July 2021. The aim of the session was to share some important issues around the concept of curriculum, our curriculum review journey so far, and to pose an important question:
Ofsted (2021) say that “The curriculum [should] reflect the school’s local context by addressing typical gaps in pupils’ knowledge and skills.”
Bearing this in mind, what do you think our pupils’ typical gaps are?
Our attendees gave some very interesting answers with clearly identifiable themes.
Even if you didn’t attend the session, but would like to give your views, please have a look through the PowerPoint below then take a minute to answer our very brief survey question: https://forms.office.com/r/6g1Eb5Rmjy
Thank you. This will really help us to inform the next stages in the constant evolution of our curriculum for our fabulous pupils. Once we’ve collated these along with the views collected at the session we will feed back to you again.
