Peripatetic teaching is enabled at All Saints’ in the following areas:
Brass/Woodwind
Guitar
Strings
Keyboard/piano
Vocal
Fees are payable to third party teachers or teaching organisations for this. Most often lessons are within school time.
A school band now operates and there are performance opportunities provided for children who have achieved a level of competence to perform.
In the Autumn term, children took part in a choir.
In the spring term the opportunity to perform with an Orchestra (Two Rivers Band) was offered to children.
With help of a grant All Saints’ has a number of band instruments that it makes available to children at the school. This makes it much easier for families to let their children try learning an instrument without major financial outlay by their family for an instrument. The school is very grateful to ‘Awards for All’ for their grant to support us in this area.
